Music for trombone quartet and organ by Anton Bruckner as played on the CD. This piece is originally an offertorium for male chorus & 4 trombones, in F Minor. About the Bruckner motets, Doug Yeo, bass trombonist with the Boston Symphony, recently commented, "My fascination with this sublime and powerful music is deep and ongoing as I know it is for many of you."

Motet for three trombones, organ, and baritone voice by Anton Bruckner as played on the CD. A trombone could substitute for the baritone voice solo.

The famous Gabrieli Sonata set for trombone quartet and organ, as heard on the the CD.

The wonderful organ chorale prelude transcribed and arranged by Jeremy Van Hoy for four trombones. The music and the liturgical theme of Advent can easily be seen in chorale-based compositions, where the text of the chorale indicates the meaning behind the music.
