Lee was the organist on our All Day Meeting and Dinner on the Ground CD project. Below, Lee is shown relaxing with fellow organist Carol Wilson during rehearsal for our October, 1999 recital. A native of Colorado, Lee Garrett is Professor of Music and College Organist at Lewis & Clark College, in Portland. He is an active recitalist and clinician, and has presented concerts and workshops for local, regional, and national meetings of the American Guild of Organists, the American Institute of Organbuilders, and the Music Teachers National Convention. His articles and reviews are published in various scholarly journals, and he is completing a book on American organ building in the late twentieth century to be published by Amadeus Press. |
