Mr. Mulcahy grew up in Colorado but after studying at the Juilliard School in New York City has gone on to a stellar orchestral career.  After spending one season as the second trombonist in the Buffalo Philharmonic, he is now the Principal Trombonist of the Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra in Washington D.C.
