Bill Holst (shown here with "Dude" the Wonderdog) has been a trombonist with the Colorado Springs Symphony Orchestra since 1979. He holds a B.S. in mathematics and statistics from Colorado State University, an M.S. from Colorado Technical University, and has done graduate study in trombone at North Texas State University.  Locally, Mr. Holst has performed with Colorado Opera Festival Orchestra, Colorado Ballet, and the Springs Contemporary Jazz Big Band. He is former lead trombone with Wayne Cochran and the C.C. Riders in Las Vegas, and former principal trombone with the 6th Army Band, Presidio.

Here is a little clip of Bill and the C.C. Riders in action.  It is from a movie called C.C. and Company that Wayne Cochran made with Joe Namath and Ann-Margaret.
