Trombone Day!
WHO:
The High Altitude Trombone Quartet (HATQ) will be hosting an all-day
event, dedicated to educating and entertaining all students and fans of the
trombone. HATQ members are:

Our Guest Artist/Clinician will be Alex Iles, Los Angeles studio

WHAT: 1)There will be several clinics given on
various aspects of trombone performance and a large trombone choir for everyone
to play in.
2)An evening recital featuring Alex
Iles and HATQ
*Note – Your registration fee pays for a pizza lunch, but bring a dollar to buy a drink from the vending machines.
WHERE: Lewis-Palmer HS in Monument. Directions: Take I-25 to Monument (in-between
Castle Rock and Colorado Springs). From
the North:
take Monument exit, turn left at stop sign.
Turn left at light, going over I-25.
Turn right at Struthers Rd. (light), school is on your left (turn left
on Higby). From the South: take Baptist Rd.
exit. Turn right, then immediately left,
going past hardware store. School is on
your right, take Higby Rd.
WHEN: Saturday, May 11, starting at 9 a.m. Please arrive at 8:30 a.m. if you plan to
register that morning. However,
pre-registering will allow us to better plan for this event. The recital will be that evening at 7:30 p.m.
FEE: The cost of attending Trombone Day is $20
(make checks out to ‘HATQ’). If you are
only attending the recital, it is free to everyone.
